| Background Information: | Tinker's Creek Bridge was a 225-foot long, 20-foot wide masonry arch bridge. This bridge was owned by the Cleveland & Pittsburgh Railroad. The bridge carried the single track railroad 120 feet above the creek. There were four masonry arches that were about 50 feet wide. In 1902, a massive fill was undertook so that two tracks across the creek could be accommodated Cleveland: An Inventory of Historic Engineering and Industrial Sites and a sign located at the site. | |
