Years Existed: 1953-Present
Background Information: Bridge Number 8 was designed by Howard, Needles, Tammen, & Bergendoff Consulting Engineers. This bridge won an award from the American Institute of Steel Construction in 1953. This bridge has a single track that has a span of 260ft and a lift of 90ft. The towers and overhead girder were designed to be a rigid frame.
